Reverend Mayer,

I have a suggestion for keeping Sabbath. I like to keep it by drinking all my espresso at home, instead of going out for coffee. Is that what you had in mind?

Hey, are you ripping on me? Did I ask to be called "Rev"? Of course not. I pretty much don't care what people call me, as long as it's nice or funny. Pookie and Snugglewumps would do nicely. Here at Christ Church, I encourage people to call me "Scott" though many insist on calling me "Father Scott." So far today, I've been called "Vicar", "Reverend", "Rev," "Pastor Gunn," "Father Scott", "Scott", and "Chucklehead." And that's just today. Go figure.

Anyway, I'm right with you. I'll insist -- as a condition of doing his show again -- that he call me "Your Eminence," "Scott", or "that tall, somewhat persnickety, priest from Lincoln."

On another note, it was fun to be on a radio show. Though I was disappointed the studio didn't look anything like WKRP in Cincinnati.

I had no idea I was going to have to talk about such weighty matters as the problem of evil, eternal damnation, and clergy misconduct.

Next time I'll let you know about the show sooner so you can clear the calendar of mundane things like narrative budgets.

Pax,

Hi Peter-
I added a hit meter on the side bar for you.
The good news is that you started out at 160 hits a month and now you are around 230/month.
Janice
PS Love the new photos of Sarah!
